Seven verses inspired by the Bardo Thödol, or Liberation Through Hearing During the Intermediate State, an esoteric Tibetan text which describes the experience of consciousness through life and death.

The intermediate state between lives is divided into three bardos:

The moment of death, which is the experience of the clear light of reality - the nearest approximation of our spiritual capability. The bardo of experiencing reality - in which the consciousness of an individual experiences visions. The bardo of rebirth; karmically induced hallucinations of men and women passionately entwined - which lead a return to material life.

The Liberation Through Hearing During the Intermediate State also mentions three other bardos:

Life. Meditation. Dream.

Each rubber stamp contains a secret three line verse which addresses a distinct aspect of the journey along this trajectory.

Each stamp should be used in sequence, revealing/printing no more than one verse every twenty four hours.

Each verse/rubber stamp should be read, carried and meditated upon until the reader feels ready to move to the next verse.

The content of each verse must remain hidden until pressed onto a surface.
